Freshman Samantha Haubenstock of the No. 15-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team fired four-over 76 for the second straight day during the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at Bay Oaks Country Club on Thursday.

After three rounds of play, Haubenstock is tied for 10th place with 10-over par 226 (74-76-76). After three bogies and a double bogie on the front nine, Haubenstock rallied with eight straight pars and a birdie to finish the back nine.

"Sam had a nice turnaround," said head coach Ellen Port. "She hit every fairway and green on the second nine and capped things off by sinking a seven foot birdie putt on the last hole."

George Fox University 903 (303, 303, 297) is atop the team leaderboard after firing a tournament low 297 during round three to take a four stroke lead on the reigning national champion Rhodes College 907 (301, 300, 306). Tied atop the individual's leaderboard is Rhodes' Nikki Isaacson 219 (71-77-71) and Bridgewater College's Christina Herbert 219 (74-69-76).

Haubenstock has carded 38 pars after 54 holes, which is tied for the second best total just one off the leader's total.
