Erin Drolet Fires Six Birdies as Washington University Finishes 10th at Golfweek

Washington University in St. Louis women's golf saved its best round for last, firing a 313 score on Tuesday afternoon to close out the Golfweek Fall Preview totaling 965 strokes to claim 10th place among the 18 opposing institutions at the Baytowne Golf Club.

Junior Erin Drolet finished the day with six birdies as the Bears made a push to move ahead of Washington & Lee University and Centre College who finished eighth and ninth overall. Wittenberg University took home the title finishing the three-day tournament with 927 strokes. 

Drolet tied with freshman Samantha Haubenstock for the team lead four-over-par 76 scores during the third round. Haubenstock finished the round with 14 pars to pair with four bogies while leading the Bears in overall score. She shot 235 over the three rounds which tied her for 18th place among the 92 golfers.  

Senior Jessica Wibawa finished the day with a pair of birdies while sophomore Chloe DiPetrillo added another. WashU finished the tournament with 19 birdies in total, tied for seventh best. Haubenstock pared on 36 holes, one short of tying for first individually.
