Three Bears fired in the 70s on Sunday, including sophomore Samantha Haubenstock 74, junior Chloe DiPetrillo 76 and freshman Gigi Garcia 77. Garcia and DiPetrillo earned All-Tournament honors with top-10 finishes.
"I think everyone can look back on their rounds and find a few little things that they could have done better," said head coach Ellen Port. "I saw some really positive things take place out there and we will build on those the rest of the season."
Garcia placed second overall concluding the invitational with 149 strokes (72-77). DiPetrillo tied for sixth with a two-day score of 158 (82-76).
WashU will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 15 through Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the Golfweek Division III Invite. Be sure to stay up to date on all your Bears scores and awards by following @WashUBears on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
