The Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team finished atop the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic after matching its first round score on Sunday with 305 strokes at Normal's Ironwood Golf Course.

WashU bypassed first round leader University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and held off tournament host Illinois Wesleyan's push for the lead as the Titans posted a tournament low 291 score. Junior Chloe DiPetrillo finished with the Bears second round low score of 73 as she earned All-Tournament honors with 150 (77-73) that ranked seventh overall.

"I was proud of the mental fortitude each player demonstrated today," said head coach Ellen Port. "It's not easy to stay focused for five hours. One of our goals is to try to be more consistent with our scores over the two days and we accomplished that this weekend firing 305 both days."

Ultimately WashU was led by sophomore Samantha Haubenstock as she also matched her first round score Sunday with a two-over par 74. The Weston, Fla.-native placed second overall, firing a four-over par 148 (74-74) to earn All-Tournament. Freshman Gigi Garcia also earned All-Tournament honors with a two day score of 151 (74-77).

Junior Hanna Jia rounded out the scoring for the Bears with a second day score of 81, while sophomore Emily Carnes shot 84.
