The New York University wrestling team defeated Bridgewater State University and Plymouth State University on Saturday, January 17, at the John C. Foley Gymnasium in Plymouth, NH. 

NYU, currently ranked #28 by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), was victorious in its first match of the day, 48-0, against Bridgewater State before defeating host Plymouth State, 34-15. 

Six different NYU wrestlers each won two bouts on the day to help improve the squad's record to 10-3 this season. 

Highlights:

Jacob Donato (125) and Gaaret Marinelli (174) each won two bouts by fall.

Nathan Pike was victorious in both of his bouts at 133 pounds, each by technical fall.

Brandon Jones, ranked #4 nationally by the NWCA at 141 pounds, also picked up two wins.

Raymond Jazikoff was victorious in both of his bouts at 157 pounds. The freshman now has a team-best 24 wins this season.

William Gockel-Figge (HWT) won his first match in an NYU singlet, defeating Bridgewater State's Mark Ostroski by technical fall.
