From Carnegie Mellon University Athletics
Senior Rachel Contopoulos (Oakland, Calif./Berkeley) brought in another honor for the Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team, as she was named a first-team all-star by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) on Friday, December 13. The honor follows the senior's selection to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Great Lakes Region Team.
Contopoulos led the team in points with 10, scored two goals and assisted on six, and was honored with a first-team selection to the 2013 ECAC Division III South Women's Soccer All-Star Team as a defender. Two of her assists came in the double-overtime loss to the University of Rochester.
