Leah Levey of CWRU Named NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region for Second Time

After finishing an outstanding career on the pitch this fall, Case Western Reserve University senior forward Leah Levey (Columbus, Ohio/Bexley) has been selected to the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Associaton of America Division III All-Great Lakes Region Second Team. The all-region nod is the second of Levey's career as she was also named to the second team in 2011.

A four-time All-University Athletic Association selection, Levey finished second on the team this season with 14 points on six goals and two assists. A four-year starter, Levey ranks tied for first in program history with eight game-winning goals and tied for fifth with 17 goals overall. She also started more matches (74) than any player in team history.

In addition, Levey excels in the classroom as a three-time UAA All-Academic selection and a 2013 Capital One Academic All-District VII honoree as a nutrition major.
