The University of Rochester women's soccer team pushed its record to 3-0 on the season following a 3-0 victory over Keuka College on Wednesday evening at Edwin Fauver Stadium.

UR combined to outshoot the Wolves 27-3 and got scores from three different players in the victory.  The three-game winning streak is the longest to start a season since 2013 for the Yellowjackets.

Junior Hannah Wadsworth tallied her second score of the year in the 21st minute to open the scoring for Rochester.  She headed a high ball into the top right corner of the net off a right side cross from teammate Liz Mastoloni who tallied two assists on the night.

In an otherwise quiet first half, the Yellowjackets held a 14-2 shot advantage at the break, with a few scoring chances coming with 10 minutes left in the half following three straight corner kicks.

The second half saw Keuka earn its best opportunity to score in the 64th minute when Danielle DeSimone ran in on a breakaway on UR keeper Madilynne Lee, only to see her shot attempt slip just wide of the Rochester goal, keeping the score at 1-0 UR.

UR's lead would double in the 72nd minute when Paige Gloster slammed home a rebound off the hands of Wolves keeper Adrianna Gunkel.  Gunkel couldn't handle the initial shot off the foot of Emily Henry, leading to an open net for Gloster to score her second goal of the season.

After the second score, Rochester seemed to really apply the pressure offensively, generating many scoring chances over the games' final 15 minutes.

Gunkel made a couple of outstanding saves, keeping Keuka within striking distance, blocking a point blank chance from Jorie Freitag in the 78th minute and then diving to stop a 25-yard blast off the foot of Shayna Levywith under eight minutes to play.

In the final minute, Rochester first year Andrea Lopez recorded her first collegiate goal, heading in a corner kick from Mastoloni.  Lopez was camped in the crease near the back post and outjumped the defense to head the ball into the top left corner.

In goal, Gunkel made 12 saves for Keuka, while Lee and Samantha Hlavac combined on the shutout in the Rochester goal.
