The No. 3-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 2-1 double overtime victory over Case Western Reserve University to claim its fifth-straight University Athletic Association (UAA) title and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

WashU won its 13th-straight game to improve to 15-1-1 and 6-0 in the University Athletic Association (UAA), while Case Western Reserve dropped to 13-4 and 2-4 in the conference. The Bears have won 16-straight UAA games dating back to 2017.

Prior to the contest, WashU honored its three seniors – Taylor Cohen, Olivia Emanuel and Jesse Rubin. The Class of 2019 has helped lead the Bears to a 72-6-6 (.893) overall record in four seasons on the Danforth Campus. During this time, the Bears won four UAA Titles, made two Final Four appearances and captured the 2016 NCAA Division III National Championship.

WashU has won five-straight UAA titles and 14 in school history (1995, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).

WashU outshot Case 29-7 for the contest, including 10-0 in the overtime periods. The Bears also had the 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.

After a scoreless first half, Case scored in the 52nd on a penalty kick by Anika Washburn. The goal by Washburn was her UAA-leading 14th of the season.

With the Bears down 1-0 and pressing, a give and go from Cohen to sophomore Ariana Miles resulted in the game-tying goal in the 80th minute. The goal for Miles was her sixth of the season.

The goal by Miles gave WashU a much-needed lift and the Bears took over the game and eventually found the game-winner in the second OT on another give and go from Cohen, this time to sophomore Erin Flynn. The game-winner for Flynn was the fifth of her career.

Junior goalkeeper Emma Greenfield (15-1-1) picked up the win in goal making three saves. Greenfield moved into second place in school history in wins (49) and 10th in saves (83).
