Senior back Hannah Menard anchored the top-ranked Washington University defense in a pair of shutouts in the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship. She and the Bears’ backline allowed just one shot on goal in the two matches, none in a 5-0 win over Westminster College and one in a 3-0 victory over Illinois Wesleyan University.
