Chicago Triumphs over DePauw and IIT on Senior Day

In their penultimate home meet of the season, the University of Chicago swimming and diving teams sent their four seniors off victorious with wins over DePauw University and Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday.

Before the meet began, the Maroons recognized their four seniors. The UChicago women topped DePauw 173-114 and IIT 241-14.

Freshman Alison Wall won four total events, including the 100-yard backstroke, the 200-yard backstroke and as the lead leg of the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay. Sophomore Ciara Hu was victorious in the 200-yard butterfly and the 200-yard IM. Junior Sofia Gross earned wins in both the one-meter dive and the three-meter dive.
