Danielle Neu of Rochester is All-American on 3-Meter Board

Freshman Danielle Neu became the first female diver in Rochester school history to earn All-America honors after her performance at the NCAA Division III Championship meet on Saturday afternoon.
 
Neu finished in 16th place with a score of 392.70 on the three-meter board to earn honorable mention All-America honors. In the morning trials session, she qualified for the final round with a score of 412.00. Earlier in the week, she finished 17th on the one-meter board.

In team scoring, Rochester totaled 31 points and finished in a tie for 20th place with Hamilton College.
 
Senior Karen Meess finished in 36th place in the trials of the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:08.01. The 400 yard freestyle relay was 22nd overall in the trials of its race. The Yellowjacket quartet swam a 3:32.46. The group was comprised of Lauren Bailey, Khamia Simpson, Emily Simon, and Vicky Luan.
