The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming & diving team wrapped up the dual meet portion of the 2014-15 schedule with a 187-98 victory against Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday at the BW Natatorium.

The Spartans move to 5-4 in duals, while the Yellow Jackets drop to 7-8.

While most of the team's top scorers were rested for the upcoming conference championship meet, CWRU freshmen had a hand in nine of the team's 11 first-place finishes for the day.

Two wins each came courtesy of freshmen Cassandra Laios (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington), Jennifer Eurich (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown Area) and Inez Moore (Lakewood, Colo./D'Evelyn).

Laios took first in the 50-yard backstroke (30.09) and 100 back (1:03.88). Eurich won the 200 freestyle (2:02.46) and 100 free (56.53). Moore touched the wall first in the 50 free (25.50) and 50 butterfly (27.60).

The Spartans also won both relay competitions with Laios, Moore and Eurich all in on the 200 medley event along with senior Brianna Cain (Perry, Ohio/Perry) for a time of 1:55.29. Laios and Moore took part in the 200 free relay victory with freshmen Jenna Krynicki (Herndon, Va./Herndon) and Abigail Dessart (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) in a time of 1:45.61.
