Spartans Top John Carroll, 140-97, for First Win of 2014-15

The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming & diving team earned its first win of 2014-15 by a score of 140-97 versus local-rival John Carroll University on Saturday at Veale Natatorium.

The Spartans move to 1-1, while the Blue Streaks fall to 1-1.

Junior Rebecca Pakradooni (Augusta, Ga./Lakeside) was a double-winner with a time of 59.49 in the 100-yard butterfly and a mark of 1:59.76 in the 200 freestyle.

Junior Abby Glenn (Novi, Mich./Novi) won her lone individual event of the day with a time of 18:56.93 in the 1,650 free. Freshman Mary Katherine Miller (Baton Rouge, La./Saint Joseph's Academy) took first in the 400 individual medley (4:43.21) and second in the 500 free (5:23.96).
