Emory University freshman Mara Rosenstock won both the
one- and three-meter diving events (11 dives), each with NCAA
qualifying scores, to pace the Eagles' women to a first-place
finish out of three teams at the Emory Diving Invitational on
Saturday afternoon at the Woodruff Physical Education Center.
Rosenstock was the first-place finisher in the three-meter dive (11
dives) with an NCAA qualifying score of 461.95. She won the
one-meter dive (11 dives) as her score of 455.70 was good for a
second NCAA qualifying mark, and was within 10 of the program
record in the event.
Junior Kellen Hope added a first-place finish in the
three-meter dive (six dives) with a score of 225.55, and her
career-best score of 437.05 in the one-meter dive (11 dives) was
good for third-place and an NCAA qualifying mark. Emory
freshman Natalie Bauer added a third-place finish in the
three-meter dive (six dives) with a score of 153.65, and a
fifth-place finish in the one-meter dive (11 dives) with a score of
315.75.
With the individual performances, Emory claimed a first-place
finish at the meet, totaling 106 points. The University of
West Florida finished second with 62 points, while the University
of Cumberlands claimed third-place with 32 points.
