Maroons Capture Chicago Invitational Title

The University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the two-day Chicago Invitational with a team win on Saturday.

UChicago's women posted 1,045 points amongst the nine teams while Wisconsin-Whitewater was second with 720 points.

The diving success carried over to the women's side. Freshman Natalie DeMuro's winning one-meter score of 417.90 was also a NCAA provisional qualifying mark. DeMuro's victory was one of five on the day for the Maroon women. Senior Jennifer Hill won the 400-yard IM (4:40.00) and also swam the anchor leg for the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:38.16).
