From University of Rochester Athletics
A day after competing in the final home dual meet of the season,
the University of Rochester divers traveled to Ithaca College on
Sunday to compete at the Dick Comanzo Invitational and finished
with a strong showing in the pool.
Sophomore Danielle Neu earned two more NCAA Regional qualifying
scores in her two 3rd place finishes. Neu scored a 435.55 on
the 3 meter board and ended with a 433.65 score on the 1 meter
board.
Also earning strong showings for Rochester were Joanna Wallace and
Carrie DeMoulin. Wallace ended 8th of 18 on both boards,
scoring 383.30 on the 3M and 379.40 on the 1M. She just edged
teammate DeMoulin on the 3 meter, as she placed 9th with a score of
383.05. DeMoulin placed 10th on the 1 meter with her score of
367.55.
On the men's side, freshman Caulin Nelson-Angelsea was 8th on the 3
meter board with a score of 224.45 and 10th on the 1 meter with a
215.15 score.
