Mara Rosenstock of Emory Headed to NCAA Championships After Qualifying on Day Two of Diving Regional

Sophomore diver Mara Rosenstock has earned one of the four regional qualifying spots and will be making the trip with her swimming teammates to next month's NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championships.

After taking fourth in the 1-meter event on Friday, Rosenstock placed fourth as well in the 3-meter event with a score of 436.60. Under the NCAA qualifying procedures, Rosenstock earned the final qualifying spot as the day two second-highest finisher, not already invited. She will join Danielle Fruend and Sarah Kate Mrkonich from Trinity University (TX) and Centre's Sarah Hayhurst as the four Region 2 national qualifiers.

Freshman Emma Watson also competed in the 3-meter event on Saturday and closed out her trip to Grinnell, IA over the weekend with a ninth place showing in the event with a score of 393.85.

The 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championships will take place from March 16th through the 19th in Greensboro, NC.
