Eagles Conclude Dual Meet Season at Georgia Tech

Three first place finishes paced the Emory women at the meet as sophomores Rebecca Upton, Julia Wawer and the 400 Free Relay claimed outright victories in their respective events. Upton touched first in the 1,000 Free with a time of 10:29.04 and Wawer posted a mark of 5:09.35 to win the 500 Free event. Upton placed second in the 500 Free with a time of 5:12.88. The 400 Free Relay team of juniors Marissa Bergh and Claire Liu, Wawer and freshman Fiona Muir swam a time of 3:29.79 to win the event.

Other top performances on the women's side included Wawer in the 200 Free (2nd, 1:52.28), Bergh (2nd, 23.99) and Muir (3rd, 24.22) in the 50 Free, sophomore Ming Ong in 400 IM (3rd, 4:34.97), sophomore Megan Campbell in the 200 Fly (3rd, 2:10.98), Bergh again in the 100 Free (53.35), senior Ellie Thompson in the 200 Back (2:04.59) and classmate Elizabeth Aronoff in the 200 Breast (3rd, 2:22.50). Sophomore Mara Rosenstock performed well in both diving events, leading the Eagles with scores of 299.40 in the 1-meter and 261.15 in the 3-meter.
