From Brandeis University Athletics
The Brandeis University women's swimming and diving team won eight events in its final meet of 2016, a 167-119 loss at Colby College.
Rookie Natalya Wozab (Plantation, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas)led the way in similar fashion, taking both breaststroke events in addition to the 200 IM. She won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.33, the 200 in 2:32.64 and captured the IM in 2:16.68 by a margin of just under three seconds.
Sophomore Kylie Herman (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) won the 500 free (5:35.68) and the 200 (2:00.17).
Sprinter Yvette Smith (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville) captured the 100 freestyle in 55.93 seconds.
Swimming in her home state, Hwanhee Park (Cumberland, Maine/Greeley) took the women's 100 butterfly in 1:01.49
The 200 medley relay team of junior Amy Sheinhait (Framingham, Mass./Framingham), Wozab, Park and Smith opened the meet with a win by posting a time of 1:53.02. It was the fastest time in the event at Brandeis under head coach Mike Kotch and just under half a second off the school record.
