The Brandeis University swimming and diving team traveled to Trinity College (Conn.) yesterday.
The women fell by a score of 156-114.
TOP PERFORMERS - WOMEN
- Sophomore Kylie Herman (Weston Fla./Cypress Bay) had an outstanding day with three first place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle (2:01.34), 200 yard butterfly (2:16.32), and 500 yard freestyle (5:25.93).
- Freshman Natalya Wozab (Plantation, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) had an exceptional performance with two first place finishes in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:11.84) and 200 yard breaststroke (2:37.05), and a second place finish in the 200 yard IM (2:21.05).
- Freshman Hwanhee Park (Cumberland, Me./Greely) collected three second place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle (2:05.32), 100 yard freestyle (57.25), and 100 yard butterly (1:03.03).
- Freshman Philippa Zheku (Woburn, Mass./Woburn Memorial) notched two second place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.45) and 200 yard backstroke (2:18.29).
- Freshman Yvette Smith (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville) finished second in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26.45.
- Junior Genna Karp (Springfield, N.J./Golda Och Academy) dove her best score of the season in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 147.60.
- The women's 400 yard freestyle relay team of Abby Damsky (New York, N.Y./The Brearley School), Kylie Herman, Philippa Zheku, and Fallon Katz(Sarasota, Fla./Pine View) finished second with a time of 3:58.94.
