Honore Collins of NYU Wins 200 IM at NCAA Championships

Honore Collins of the New York University women's swimming & diving team won the National Championship in the 200-yard IM on day one of the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, which are being held Wednesday-Saturday, March 15-18, at the Conroe ISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, TX. 

The freshman won in a NYU-record time of 2:00.97, breaking her own school mark of 2:02.96. The Evanston, IL, native set the top time in the morning's preliminaries (2:01.42), before racing to victory in the evening final. 

Collins, NYU's first-ever swimming National Champion, will also be competing in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard breaststroke at the NCAA's.
