From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team defeated Oberlin College 160.5-81.5 on Saturday.
Sophomore Casey Crowley won the 100-yard butterfly with a time 1:02.23, sophomore Bhavya Kumaran won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.34 and sophomore Alli Drohosky won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.47. Crowley, Kumaran and Drohosky also teamed with junior Inez Moore to finish first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.27.
Other individual wins by the Spartan women on Saturday came from junior Jennifer Eurich in the 50-yard freestyle (25.55), sophomore Kelsey Holmberg in the 1,000-yard freestyle (career-best time of 11:07.69) and freshman Olivia Picchione in the 400-yard individual medley (4:50.99).
Junior Brooke Hortness came away with wins in both women's diving events, registering scores of 196.30 in the one-meter dive and 205.45 in the three-meter dive.
