The Emory University Women's Swimming and Diving team was upended by the University of Georgia 194-99 on Saturday afternoon at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia. With the loss, the Eagles conclude the dual meet portion of the season with an overall record of 6-1.

The Eagles still had a strong showing at the meet despite the defeat to the third-ranked Bulldogs, posting seven NCAA B Cut times on the afternoon.

Emory bookended the meet with a pair of NCAA qualifying marks in the two relay events: the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle. In the 200 Medley Relay, seniors Annelise Kowalsky, Marissa Bergh, junior Cindy Cheng and freshman Maria Kyle placed second with a mark of 1:44.45. In the 200 Free, UGA's Chantal Van Landeghem, Rachel Zilinskas, Emily Cameron and Kimberlee John-Williams narrowly edged out Bergh, classmate Marcela Sanchez-Aizcorbeand sophomores Fiona Muir and Meg Taylor by just .18 seconds. Emory's foursome touched with a time of 1:35.18 in the second place finish.

In the individual events, Muir topped the Eagles with two NCAA B Cut times in the 100 Freestyle (2nd, 51.43) and 50 Free (3rd, 23.73). Adding NCAA qualifying marks was Cheng in the 200 Freestyle (1:51.19), Kowalsky in the 100 Breaststroke (3rd, 1:05.02) and freshman Maria Turcan in the 200 Butterfly (3rd, 2:06.20).
