14 UAA Women Named to CollegeSwimming.com Preseason All-America Team

Fourteen UAA women's swimmers were named to the CollegeSwimming.com 2016-17 Division III Preseason All-America Team.

Seven-time defending NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving champions Emory University lead the nation with 10 preseason All-America selections. 

Earning a spot on the Preseason All-American list for the Eagles were seniors Marissa Bergh (50 and 100 Free), Annelise Kowalsky (100 Breast, 200 Breast, 200 IM), Marcela Sanchez-Aizcorbe (100 Fly), juniors Megan Campbell (100 Fly), Cindy Cheng (200 Free, 100 and 200 Back), Phoebe Edwards (400 IM), Rebecca Upton (500 and 1,650 Free, 200 Fly), Julia Wawer (200 Free) and sophomores Ashley Daniels (100 and 200 Breast), and Fiona Muir (50 and 100 Free, 100 Fly).

Alison Wall (200 Free and 200 Back) and Melissa Bischoff (100 Back) of University of Chicago were each named to the Preseason All-America Team.

Isabelle Kitz (100 Free) of NYU and Nicole Zanoli (100 Free, 100 and 200 Back) of Washington University also earned preseason All-America recognition.
