From University of Chicago Athletics
Back in the pool for the first time in nearly two months, the University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team swept a home tri-meet with Lewis University and Olivet Nazarene University on Friday.
UChicago's women defeated Lewis 190-103 and Olivet Nazarene 152-144, winning six events.
Senior Abby Erdmann took the women's 500-yard freestyle (5:12.55) and was also part of the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:38.13).
The women's divers also excelled during the evening competition. Sophomore Anna Girlich recorded two NCAA provisional scores, winning the one-meter with 259.58 and taking runner-up in the three-meter with 265.28. Junior Natalie DeMuro achieved an NCAA provisional score on the three-meter board, taking first with 271.43.
