Maroons Take Title at Midwest Invitational

The University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team totaled four event victories at day two of the Midwest Invitational on Saturday.

UChicago's women finished first of six teams with 601.5 points, followed by Case Western Reserve University at 469.5 points.

The Maroons tallied four wins on the women's side. Freshman Sydney Grube was a multiple winner in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.07) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.83). UChicago swept the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard butterfly with freshman Nicole Garcia (57.27) and senior Abby Erdmann (2:05.34).
