Maya Scheidl Breaks Chicago Record Against Wisconsin-Milwaukee

The University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team earned 11 runner-up finishes in a dual meet with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday.

The NCAA Division I Panthers topped the Maroons 186-105 on the women's side.

Senior Maya Scheidl was runner-up in the women's 100-yard IM in a school-record time of 1:01.51.

Scheidl was second in the 100-yard IM, 100-yard freestyle (52.65) and 200-yard freestyle (1:55.54). Senior Abby Erdmann grabbed runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly (59.45) and 200-yard butterfly (2:11.89).
