From Washington University Athletics
On the first day of the Miami (Ohio) Invitational, Washington University in St. Louis women swam to four NCAA Division III B-cut times and three school records at the Corwin Nixon Natatorium on Thursday.
The women posted four B-cut times and are in sixth place with 120 points following the first day with Miami (343), Bowling Green State University (185.5), Emory (170.5), Milwaukee College (160) and Denison (150) ahead of the Bears.
School records were set in three different events including Niamh O'Grady's 2:02.73 time in the 200 individual medley. O'Grady, Lauren Carlos, Maddie Robinson and Nicole Zanolli combined efforts with a school record time of 1:34.44 in the 200 freestyle relay in time trials. Zanolli also set a new school record in the 500 free (4:51.95) in preliminaries.
