Bears Win Four Events at Midwest Invitational

The Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving team won four events at the Midwest Invitational hosted by Chicago Friday and Saturday evening.

The women's side was led by Chicago (601.5), Case (405), Milwaukee (335), WashU (326), Olivet (160) and Lewis (145.5).

Junior Alissa Ling swam to multiple B-cut times in the 200 (2:07.03) and 400 IM (4:32.45), capturing first and fourth respectively.

The women also won multiple relays during the two day invitational. Sophomores Brooke Ivey and Isabel Kennon were the beginning and end of both the 400 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay winning teams. The team of Ivey, sophomore Megana Vasu, freshman Hailey Jenkins and Kennon won the 400 medley with a time of 4:11.44.
