Brandeis Defeats Bridgewater State in Tri-Meet

Competing at a tri-meet against Keene State College and Bridgewater State University, the Brandeis Swimming and Diving teams had some admirable performances. The women, who had several top performances out due to illness, grabbed a win, 157-77, against Bridgewater State, but fell to host Keene State, 150-87. 

Freshman Emily McGovern (Chatham, N.J. / Chatham) won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:23.08. She also came in second in the 200 breaststroke, at 2:36.50. Classmate Annie Huang (Chapel Hill, N.C. / East Chapel Hill) posted a time of 57.38 in the 100 freestyle to take the top spot. Junior Kylie Herman (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) posted three podium finishes, in the 200 free (second, 2:04.03), 200 butterfly (third, 2:22.70), and 500 free (second, 5:31.36).
