From Brandeis University Athletics
Competing at a multiple-dual meet with three other teams, the Brandeis Swimming and Diving squads showed some fine performances. The Judges defeated Smith, 176-118, and Babson, 177-67, for their first wins of the season. The Judges fell to host WPI, 176-94.
The only winner for the women was rookie Rachel Goldblatt (Atlanta, Ga. / Galloway School) who took the 100 butterfly in 1:02.64.
Classmate Audrey Kim (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) had a pair of second-place finishes, in the 100 back (1:03.10) and the 200 back (2:17.07). She was also third in the 400 IM (5:04.05). Other runners-up were rookie Talia Bornstein (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral) in the 1000 free (11:26.44) and junior Kylie Herman (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) in the 200 free (2:03.19)
