10 women and eight men from UAA institutions will compete in the NCAA Division III Diving Regional Qualifiers this weekend, seeking a berth to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.
2018 UAA Women's Diver of the Year Carmen White of NYU will compete at the Northeast Regional hosted by Middlebury College. She will be joined by teammates Ashley King and Kelly Ryser.
UAA Men's Diver of the Year Connor Brisson of the Violets will also compete at Middlebury along with teammate Dominic Lemieux.
Natalie DuMuro, Anna Girlich, and Agnes Lo of University of Chicago will dive in the Central Regional in their home pool. Joseph Zhao of the Maroons has earned a spot in the men's competition.
The Midwest-South-West Regional at Trinity University will feature four UAA divers. Laura Barber of Washington University and Katie Kushner of Emory University qualified on the women's side, while Trevor Burke of the Eagles and Ryan Nathenson of the Bears will compete on the men's side.
Gabe Bamforth and Deshawn Green of Carnegie Mellon University will be joined by Stephen Savchik of University of Rochester at the Northeast Regional hosted by Ithaca College. Maddie Mianzo and Lillie Widmayer of the Tartans earned regional bids on the women's side.
