Chicago Takes Title at Midwest Invitational

The University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team captured the title of the two-day Midwest Invitational on Saturday.

The UChicago women tallied five event victories on the day for a total of eight over the course of the meet. Junior Hannah Eastman was a double winner in the 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle. Sophomore Nicole Garcia was first in the 100-yard butterfly, first-year Eleanor Cambron won the 200-yard breaststroke and first-year Michelle Cho took the 400-yard IM. The Maroon men were led first-year Graham Lane's third-place showing in the 400-yard IM.
