The UChicago women won its dual over Washington University, 184-116, in the team scoring at the Myers-McLoraine Pool.
Women's diver Agnes Lo delivered the biggest highlight of the afternoon. The sophomore achieved NCAA B-cut scores on both boards and broke the school record in the one-meter dive with a score of 284.60. The old mark of 274.45 points was set by Rebecca Schmidt in 2012. Lo also won the three-meter dive with 269.85 points. Her average margin of victory in the two dives was 31.6 points.
The Maroon women tallied 12 victories, which included five multiple winners. First-year Gillian Gagnard swept the 100-yard and 200-yard backstrokes to go with the 200-yard freestyle relay, while first-year Margaret Wolfson swept the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststrokes along with the 200-yard medley relay. First-year Nadia Redza posted wins in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard IM. First-year Nicole Lin was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay and individually in the 50-yard freestyle. First-year Taylor Hammill was also victorious in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
