From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
Buoyed by a doubles sweep for the second consecutive day, the No. 21 Case Western Reserve women's tennis team finished regular season play with an 8-1 win at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams recorded 8-0 wins, while the No. 3 duo of sophomore Kennedy Mulholland and freshman Peyton Young earned an 8-3 victory. Sophomore Sarah Berchuck and junior Surya Khadilkar teamed up at No. 1 with junior Michelle Djohan and sophomore Jennifer Lowe competing at No. 2.
Berchuck and Lowe each dropped only two total games in taking the points at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively, and Mullholland surrendered just one point at No. 5. Young and Mills also garnered points in singles with Young winning 6-0, 7-6 (8-6) at No. 4 and Mills taking No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-2.
