Yellowjackets Shutout Nazareth 9-0

The University of Rochester women's tennis team earned a clean sweep, defeating Nazareth College 9-0 on Tuesday at the Lyman Tennis Center.
 
Rochester moves to 7-7 on the season with the victory while the Golden Flyers drop to 4-12.
 
UR had three double-winners on the day as Molly Goodman, Alex Wolkoff and Lauren Zickar all won two matches.
 
The Yellowjackets dominated doubles play winning all three matches by 8-1 scores.  Christine Ho and Cara Genbauffe won over Jean McCarthy and Sara Kashtan, Zickar and Wolkoff teamed to top Elizabeth Crane and Lindsey Crawford and Goodman and Emily DePerrior won over Adrienne Sharza and Carlee Hastings.
 
In singles, all six UR players won in straight sets.  Goodman won at #1 over McCarthy 6-1, 6-1 while Wolkoff played at #2 and was a 6-2, 6-0 winner against Crane.  Darby McCall earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at #3 over Kashtan while Zickar was defeating Sharza 6-0, 6-1.
 
In the final two spots in the lineup, Mariana Flores Kim won for UR over Hastings 6-2, 6-0 and Karianne Sretavan was a 6-2, 7-6 (4) winner over Crawford.
