Rebecca Ho of Washington University Wins Pair of Matches at NCAA Singles Championship

Washington University in St. Louis senior Rebecca Ho posted a pair of straight-set victories Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles Championship held at The Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. 

The No. 2 seed in the 32-person bracket, Ho posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Nicholle Torres of Carnegie Mellon University in the first round Thursday. She followed that up with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Liza Southwick of Trinity University (Texas) in the Round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals for the second-straight year.

Ho and senior Kaylan Griffith dropped its first round match in doubles to No. 2 seed Nicole Tan and Lindsay Brown of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges 4-6, 6-2, 6-0. The duo ended it season with a 24-11 record.
