Yellowjackets End Regular Season With 9-0 Win Over RIT

The University of Rochester women's tennis team ended its regular season on a high note Wednesday, shutting out RIT by a 9-0 score for its seventh straight victory.
 
UR now sits at 13-4 on the season and earned its fifth 9-0 win on the year and the fourth in the last five matches. RIT drops to 4-9 with the loss.
 
Rochester began with three straight wins in doubles. Camila Garcia and Lauren Zickar paired for an 8-0 win at #1 over RIT's Amelia Ying and Diana Kulawiec. At #2, Sravya Gudipudi and Bianca Dyer were 8-3 winners over Brianna Dimisko and Kayla Llanos. UR's #3 doubles team of Mariana Flores Kim and Darby McCall made it 3-0 Rochester with an 8-1 win over Alyssa Hering and Maddy Price.
 
The Yellowjackets then won all six singles matches in straight sets. Garcia topped Ying at #1, 6-2, 6-4.  At #2, Wolkoff topped Simisko 6-1, 6-1 while Zickar blanked Marie Jubert 6-0, 6-0 at #3.
 
Rounding out singles play, McCall won 6-0, 6-1 at #1, defeating Kulawiec, Flores Kim was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Price while Alyssa Chaneski topped Llanos 6-2, 6-2.
