Nithya Kanagasegar & Madeleine Paolucci Win at NCAA Championship to Become First All-Americans in CWRU History

Case Western Reserve University senior Nithya Kanagasegar and freshman Madeleine Paolucci became the first All-Americans in the history of the women's tennis program with a win in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Doubles Tournament on Thursday evening in Claremont, California.

Kanagasegar and Paolucci were dominant in their doubles match, defeating seniors Ashley Barrow and Kait Brogan of the University of Mary Washington in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.  

Earlier in the day, Kanagasegar ended her collegiate singles career with a straight-set loss to Wesleyan University junior Victoria Yu, 6-1, 6-3 in the first round of the draw.
