Four UAA Teams Earn Bids to NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship

Four Association teams, headed by UAA champion Emory University, received bids to the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.

The Eagles and Washington University will each travel to Sewanee, Tennessee for a five-team regional Friday through Sunday. Emory earned a first-round bye and will face the winner of the match between Webster University and Hanover College. The Bears will face host Sewanee: The University of the South in the other second round contest.

Association runner-up University of Chicago travels to a seven-team regional Friday through Sunday at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Maroons received the only bye in the region and will open play in the second round against the Grinnell College-Coe College victor.

Carnegie Mellon University will host a six-team regional Thursday through Saturday. The Tartans received a first-round bye and will play the Kenyon College-Wheaton College (IL) winner in the second round. Wesleyan University also received a bye and faces the winner of the first-round matchup between Hope College and John Carroll University.

Claremont- Mudd-Scripps will host the team championship finals, which will be held May 21-26 at The Biszantz Family Tenns Center in Claremont, California.
