University of Chicago freshman runner Michelle Dobbs capped the final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships by finishing fifth in the 800 meters on Saturday.
The previous day, Dobbs was the eighth qualifier in prelims with a mark of 2:11.64. In the final, the freshman picked up her second All-American honor of the year by taking fifth place in a time of 2:09.91. She previously finished fourth in the 800 meters at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in March.
Christy Cazzola (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh) was the winner with a time of 2:05.23.
