From Brandeis University Athletics

Competing in what proved to be her final race of 2014-15 today, junior Kelsey Whitaker (Kingston, Mass./Notre Dame Acad.) placed 10th in her heat and 20th overall in the 1,500-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at St. Lawrence University.

Whitaker was well off her pace of 4:33 from the previous week that qualified her for the meet. Seeded 20th headed into the championships, Whitaker ran 4:42.76 at the NCAAs. She missed out on a spot in the finals by eight seconds. This was Whitaker's fifth NCAA trip in the past two years, having reached the NCAAs twice as a sophomore and three times this year, in cross country and in the mile run indoors. It was her first time at the NCAA Outdoor championships.
