Junior Daisy Ogede was selected as the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year to headline 10 Washington University in St. Louis track & field athletes named to the All-Region Team. 

Head coach Jeff Stiles was also chosen as the Women's Coach of the Year for the Midwest Region. Stiles has guided the Bears to a No. 1 ranking heading into the 2016 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which take place from Thursday-Saturday, May 26-28, at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

In order to make the All-Region team, all athletes either had to earn a top-five ranking in an individual event in the region or be participants in a top-three relay team.

Ogede secured the Athlete of the Year honors after ranking first in the women's 100 with a time of 11.78 and second in the 200 with a time of 24.21. She also received All-Region honors in the 100 hurdles and the 400 relay.

Eight other WashU women nabbed All-Region honors. Juniors Kelli Hancock and Rebecca Ridderhoff both made the All-Region team in the 400 hurdles and 1,600 hurdles, with Hancock earning an additional honor in the 400 relay. Senior Emily Warner received the honor in four events, the 400, 800, 400 relay and 1,600 relay. Freshman Elise Grever was also a member of the qualifying 400-relay team.

Sophomore Annalise Wagner was a two-time All-Region recipient in the women's 800 and the 1,600 relay, and senior Maisie Mahoney was ranked in the heptathlon. Sophomore Alison Lindsay was selected to the All-Region team in the 3,000 steeplechase, while sophomore Aly Waynewas selected in the 10,000.

Senior Josh Clark was the lone WashU men's honoree after qualifying in the 1,500.
