Chicago Track and Field Participates at Loras Open

The University of Chicago track and field teams put together six runner-up event finishes at the Loras College Dr. Tucker Open on Friday.

UChicago's women placed second in five different events on the day. Junior Olivia Cattau provided a pair of those results, running the 100-meter hurdles in 15.40 and the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.86. In the pole vault, freshman Isabel Garon and junior Angel Fluet tied for second with each other with a top height of 3.40 meters.

The Maroons also took the second and third spots in the high jump with junior Ade Ayoola (1.60 meters) and freshman Taylor Padak (1.55 meters), as well as in the 1,500 meters with senior Michelle Dobbs (4:46.39) and junior Kelsey Dunn (4:48.10).
