Maroons Place Fourth at Valparaiso

The University of Chicago track and field women's team took fourth place at the Valparaiso University Crusader Open on Saturday.

Freshman Taylor Padak tied for first in the women's high jump with a top height of 1.50 meters. Fellow freshman Laura Darcey was also a winner in the long jump at 5.28 meters. UChicago's success continued in the field events with freshman Isabel Garon taking runner-up at 3.20 meters, which tied freshman teammate Michelle Biesman.
