Washington University in St. Louis track and field head coach Jeff Stiles and assistant coach Lane Lohr were selected by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the Women's NCAA Division III Outdoor National Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year, as announced by the USTFCCCA on Thursday.

Stiles helped the Bears to the NCAA DIII Indoor and Outdoor National Championships this season, as the WashU women held steady to the No. 1 spot on the USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings the entire outdoor season. The Bears captured their first indoor National Title and outdoor National Title in the same academic year, as the WashU women totaled 56 points to rout the field during the Outdoor National Championship. This is the third occasion in which Stiles has been recognized as the National Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA, previously earning the honor during the 2017 indoor track & field season as well as in 2011 with the women's cross country team.

Lohr also earned the honor in back-to-back seasons as the USTFCCCA Assistant Coach of the Year. He coached five events in which the Bears women earned All-American honors: 100m, 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 200m and 4x400m-relay, including the winning time by senior Rebecca Ridderhoff in the 400m hurdles. WashU scored 39 of 56 points in the listed events.
