Case Western Reserve University senior Danielle Kulpins ended her collegiate career with a 10th-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Kulpins crossed the finish line in a time of 10:50.75, the 10th-best mark among the 14 qualifiers for the finals of the event. Centre College's Annie Rodenfels won the National Championship in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:15.75.
Kulpins will end her CWRU career as the program-record holder in the event, having recorded a mark of 10:40.17 earlier in the year.
Saturday's action officially ends the 2018 campaign for the Spartans.
