NYU Women's Track Relay Team Recognized by Accusplit

From NYU Athletics

New York University's women's record-breaking 4x1,500m relay team with Alyssa Binczyk, Emily Cousens, Lily Corsaro, and Georgina Norton (19:17.83) has been recognized as an Accusplit Top Relay Team.

For the previous 32 years, Accusplit has recognized top relay performances in Division I track and field at an event during their outdoor championships. For the last two years, Accusplit extended this award to recognize Division II and Division III relay teams, as well.

NYU's previous record was set during the 2012 season when Norton teamed up with Paige Zelinsky, Mar=eve Evans and Laura Santoski (19:21.98), a team also recognized as an Accusplit Top Relay Team.

Head Coach Nick McDonough will be recognized by Accusplit at the 2013 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Convention on Tuesday, December 17, in Orlando, FL.
