The University of Chicago women's track and field team won four events to finish first at the Illinois Wesleyan University Indoor I-55 Triangular on Saturday.
The Maroons scored 90.5 points to win the tri-meet, while IWU was second (73.5) and Washington University-St. Louis was third (69).
UChicago was led by junior Nkemdilim Nwaokolo, who won both the shot put (12.56 meters) and the weight throw (14.68 meters). Junior Rebecca Askins-Gast was victorious in the 800 meters (2:22.42) and junior Nelson Trotter finished first in the high jump (1.66 meters).
